I am actually struggling to describe this polish, this hails from 2011 and was released along with the Freak fragrance, Illamasquas first signature fragrance and is one of the few polishes i have ever bought from a store not online. I saw this while browsing the Illamasqua stand in Selfridges in the city centre and had to buy it, at the time i believe it was limited edition, however its readily available now.
Illamasqua describe it as a ‘pale opal green pearlescent’, to me its a neutral beige colour with green duo chrome in, it looks pinker in some lights, green in others. Its quite sheer, it took four pain staking coats to reach opacity, its worth it, even if i did end up nudging the ends of my nails in the mean time. ( Its also beautiful over greens, i put this over Muse and its a dream, its what i imagine mermaids would wear. Over black it goes all beetle wing, over blue it looks like the sun is kissing the ocean. It also refuses to photograph in all its glory, leading to me sitting on top of the head board of my bed trying to catch the light ‘just right’.

Illamasqua polishes can be bought online here and RRP at £14.50, but a few times a year they do have an excellent sale where nail polishes are usually £5 and totally worth keeping an eye out for!
